Our Wine Country Tour by Bus starts by crossing the Golden Gate
Bridge, it will take about an hour to enter the beautiful Sonoma
Valley, where California’s wine industry began in the
1850’s. The tour will visit one or two wineries located in
the Carneros Region. One winery specializes in Italian wines, and
the other in Zinfandel, Chardonnay or Pinot Noir. Your tour may
visit Vintage 1870 in Yountville, located in the old Groezinger
Winery building with restaurants and shops where you can buy
locally produced olive oil, cheese, etc., and they also have a wine
tasting cellar! Or we may stop at a deli in Sonoma Valley with a
picnic at a Vineyard. We will head north on Highway 29 to the world
famous Napa Valley, and Yountville, named after George Yount, who
planted the first grapes in Napa Valley. After lunch, you may head
southeast into Jameson Canyon, or visit another scenic Napa or
Carneros winery. Your Wine Country Bus Tour will return to San
Francisco with great views of San Francisco’s beautiful
