San Francisco’s only waterfront aquarium is conveniently
located next to Pier 39. Walk through 300 ft. of crystal clear
tunnels filled with sharks, rays and more than 20,000 other marine
animals from the Bay and nearby waters—it’s like skin
diving without getting wet. Daily hands-on animal encounters,
feedings, behind the scenes tours and more. New exhibits include
the lair of the Giant Pacific Octopus, the mesmerizing world of
jellies and an interactive climate change exhibit.

The Aquarium's mission statement - creating experiences that
inspire conservation of the San Francisco Bay and all marine
environments - begins right here at home. We hope to inspire our
guests to be more conservation-minded in their daily lives.
Although lovely to look at and home to an abundant array of
creatures, the Bay and its watershed are in trouble. Our goal is
for every visitor to the Aquarium to come away with new knowledge
about the life dwelling within the Bay, as well as what can be done
to help preserve it. Staff at Aquarium of the Bay conduct and
participate in ongoing research as a part of their commitment to
education, the preservation of animals on exhibit and in the wild
and San Francisco Bay conservation.
Aquarium of the Bay was certified as a Green Business in 2005 after
being reviewed about our recycling practices, hazardous waste
removal, and water and energy consumption/conservation. Aquarium of
the Bay is dedicated to promoting sustainable, conservation-minded
behavior. Become involved in Aquarium of the Bay's local
conservation efforts by participating in one of our annual
conservation events.

Attraction Terms & Conditions
Each Ticket issued pursuant to the standard offer is valid for use through February 28, 2010. All orders are subject to credit card approval and billing address verification. The billing address will be verified with your credit card company so you must use the exact address that your statements are sent to.
Print at Home ticket orders are available immediately and accessible via your confirmation email. All tickets are non-refundable/non-returnable.
We are unable to issue exchanges or refunds after a purchase has been made including but not limited to lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets.
